Overview

This is the largest room in the house. There is a separate sitting area in the front window of the house, with Queen Anne wing chairs and footstools so you can relax and enjoy views along Ponsonby Road. The Victorian decor includes an antique writer’s desk, stained glass and lead-light windows, a beautiful traditional fireplace and heavy blackout drapes. Facilities include a luxurious queen-sized bed, private bathroom, tea/coffee making facilities, a refrigerator and a 32-inch LCD TV. Free unlimited WiFi is available in all rooms. Full cooking facilities are available in the extensively equipped main house shared kitchen/dining room and there is a cozy TV lounge for guests to relax in.

Built in 1865, the lovely Ponsonby Manor offers free Wi-Fi, a modern guest kitchen, comfortable rooms with a flat-screen TV. After a day of sightseeing you can relax in the guest lounge or enjoy outdoor sittings. The Victorian manor is ideally located; 10 minutes' drive from Auckland CBD, Spark Arena, Eden Park, Britomart Transport Center, the Viaduct, Auckland Sky Tower and Auckland Domain. Auckland Airport is 30 minutes’ drive away. By foot, guests are 1640 feet away from Ponsonby Central and over 50 eateries, bars and restaurants.
