Located in Newcastle, this DFDS ferry sails to Amsterdam, traveling across the North Sea. The round-trip cruise features comfortable cabins and an open deck where guests can enjoy the sunlight in the day. This 2-day cruise departs from North Shields near Newcastle and arrives the next morning at IJmuiden in the Netherlands. A shuttle bus between the terminal and central Amsterdam is available at a surcharge. Departures are at 17:00, with an arrival time of 09:45 in IJmuiden. Before the return journey to Newcastle, you’ll have five free hours to explore what Amsterdam has to offer. Please note that check-in is between 3 hours and 45 minutes before departure. All cabins have a private private bathroom with a shower and toilet. Certain guest rooms have a desk or seating area. Superior rooms include breakfast. Guests on board can choose among an array of dining options. North Sea Bistro offers a mix of meat- and seafood-centric dishes paired with wine, while Explorers Kitchen features an all-you-can-eat international buffet.
